Babymoon at The Farm at San Benito
Tuesday, January 16, 2018
For those of you who have been following me on my social media sites, you probably know that I am pregnant and already on my third trimester. Yes, it has been that fast! So here's a little rewind during my birthday last year. Luckily, my birthday fell on the start of my second trimester, which means I was allowed to travel again. Hurraah!!! And because we didn't want to experience any complications, Mike and I decided to have a quick staycation near Metro Manila where we didn't need to travel via air. We also wanted a peaceful atmosphere where I can swim and be one with nature. The Farm at San Benito was the perfect venue for my birthday and babymoon celebration.
How to get to The Farm at San Benito
From Manila we traveled for 2 hours via car. It is also accessible via public transportation:
From Buendia areas along Taft Avenue going to Lipa City take either Jam Bus Line or DLTB Bus Line. Upon arrival at the Lipa City Bus Terminal take their air-conditioned private service for a nominal fee (kindly contact +63 91757222222) or take a tricycle going to the resort.

Sulu Terraces | P10,200 ++
The most affordable room out of all the villas they offer. It is modeled after the traditional Philippine rice barns with wood-beamed ceilings and thatched roofs, the rustic yet air-conditioned Sulu Terrace imparts the cozy feeling of a modern day tree house with the sleeping and sitting area upstairs, ensuite bathroom and the outdoor lounge area located downstairs.

In the afternoon they served complimentary afternoon tea and vegan snacks. We arrived at the snack area later than some of the guests thus most of the snacks were already consumed. I was a bit disappointed that they weren't able to refill it knowing the number of guests and especially after informing them that I was pregnant. So we weren't able to get to taste the spring rolls :( I was so hungry that time so we just satisfied ourselves with the left over snacks I didn't even like.

Thank you, The Farm! |
It was indeed a quick but relaxing getaway with the love of my life and baby. Love how peaceful and green the place is. It revitalized and calmed me even for that quick escape. Although I was a little disappointed with the food especially because I am pregnant, I didn't mind if it's all vegan but I wish they had bigger servings and would recommend a filling dish for us preggo.
