#WalkwithChaMikeinParis

When we looked for a place to stay in Paris our main priorities were comfort and location because this was the longest city we will be staying in. Thus the reason why we booked a hotel and not an Airbnb. I did search for a room in Airbnb but I wasn't able to see a listing that fancied me. I admit I was very careful in looking for a place as I didn't want to be a victim of booking a room that seemed nice on photos but terrible in person since Paris is quite famous for that reputation. So after carefully reviewing the hotels on booking.com we finally settled at Hotel Alize Grenelle.

Hotel Alize Grenelle Paris is a 3-star hotel that is only a few minutes walk from the Eiffel Tower. This charming hotel is ideally located in the heart of Paris' 15th arrondissement (district). It is also close to the Metro and has so many restaurant and shopping options nearby.

Taxi from Porte Maillot
From Amsterdam we took a Flix Bus going to Paris Porte Maillot then we took a taxi going here.

Lobby
The hotel has 24-hour reception. Upon checking in, the receptionist helped us in ordering our dinner. It was very late, we haven't had dinner and the best option for delivery was  pizza.

Double Room with Bath |  P6,000++
Our room was bright and spacious making us feel very comfortable. It measures 15.50 square meter. The double room is equipped with a double bed, toilet and bath, air-conditioning, direct-line telephone, flatscreen satellite TV, trouser press, working desk, alarm, private safe and free WiFi.

Bathroom
I was very impressed with the bathroom, it so spacious considering that we're in Paris. It is equipped with a bathtub, towels at are replenished daily, hairdryer and basic toiletries.
Spacious & clean bathroom. The bathtub was glorious, I used it every night to destress.
Lavatory with hairdryer
Basic toiletries. No toothbrush and toothpaste.

Toilet with bidet
Balcony
I love balconies especially if it has that intricate French railings. So I did a little photo session in this area. Hihi.

Breakfast | € 12
A buffet breakfast is served every morning in the dining room. Breakfast can also be served in your room upon request. But we didn't avail it as we were saving money (it was our last leg and funds were running out)

Nearby Establishments
Because it is at the city centre there are number of establishments near the hotel.

Eiffel Tower
They say that the Eiffel Tower is just a 15 walk from the hotel. We didn't try though because we wanted to save our energy so we always used the Metro when going around.

Beaugrenelle Shopping Centre
Two minute walk away is a shopping centre with so many shops and boutiques inside like H&M, Mango, Uniqlo, Hema and many more.

Charles Michels Metro Station
The nearest station is Charles Michels Metro Station which is just a 1 minute walk from the hotel. Metro was our main mode of transportation so this was our route everyday.

Going Around
We used the Metro when going around. It was the most accessible and convenient mode of transportation from our hotel.

Ticket Booth
We used an unlimited pass for 5 days so we didn't need to buy tickets every time.

The station was not that new but safe (we didn't encounter anything suspicious)
Inside the train
Overall it was a nice experience staying at Hotel Alize Grenelle. Though I was looking for a mini ref and complimentary water bottles which they didn't have. But the price of the hotel is reasonable enough for the service and facilities that they offer.
