Hotel Du Midi Nice France
Tuesday, October 03, 2017
We decided to book a hotel in Nice instead of an Airbnb because we weren't able to see an ideal Airbnb listing during the time we were looking (but checking the listing now, you'll find tons of options) plus we were already running out of time to search thoroughly. Nevertheless, our hotel in Nice didn't disappoint as we had a pleasant stay and the rate is very affordable. It was also a 'nice' break from the no frills Airbnb we stayed.
Hotel du Midi is a fully renovated pleasant art-deco establishment which is located in the heart of Nice. Its central location allowed us to visit the town on foot. Upon checking the hotels on booking.com, we were convinced to get this hotel because of the close proximity to the station and other establishments. It has nice spacious rooms and is very affordable.

It was already dark when we arrived but the feel of Nice was so relaxing, I fell in love instantly. The lobby has a concierge, vending machine and elevator.

Balcony
What I love most about our room. The balcony is the typical French balconies with intricate railing. I enjoyed looking outside the friendly neighborhood.

Breakfast
On our first day, we tried their breakfast spread for € 9 each. It was just a typical breakfast of bread and different types of spread, cereals, fruits, hard boiled egg, yogurt, coffee & juice. On the other days, we tried eating outside.

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Du Midi. It's not that close to the famous spots but we didn't need any transportation going around.
