Walk with Cham at Cheonggyecheon Stream.
Christmas light displays are always present during the holidays. It gives you that Yuletide ambiance perfect for the cheerful holiday and in South Korea Christmas lights can be found everywhere and one of the famous spots we went to was Cheonggyecheon Stream.
Cheonggyecheon Stream is the most popular river in Seoul, the 5.8 km stream is a serene spot that is famous among locals and tourists alike. Strolling here can be very peaceful which is why the stream is one of the most romantic destinations in Seoul.

As we began walking we were greeted by a collection of multi-colored and bright Christmas lights, each area were adorned by different Christmas themes and artsy decorations.

Hope Lanterns
As we walked further we came across this booth selling Hope Lanterns for 3,000 won (P120) each where you write down all your prayers for the coming years.

When we're finally finished we let it float along the river joining all the Hope Lanterns together.

We continued our freezing stroll and we just can't help falling in love with all the magnificent displays. So yeah, pictures were abundant too.

We ended our walk at the waterfalls area near City Hall Exit 4. The sound of it was so calming.

Walking along the stream is like walking in a fairytale-like ambiance, the darkness of the whole stretch is in remarkable contrast with the flood of magical lights as if we were in a dream.
