Glamp with Cham at Nurture Wellness Village Tagaytay.

Good Morning, Nature!
Despite the strong rain that night and the fact that I was all alone in my tent it was quite surprising that I had a very good sleep, I guess I'm meant to be at the outdoors. I woke up early and breathed the fresh air deeply. I love waking up being one with nature and Tagaytay was the ideal venue for that chilly vibe. I began loving glamping since yesterday and Glamping by Lifestyle: Pitch 2 was a perfect long weekend break I needed.

Best morning!

Glamping by Lifestyle: Pitch 2 is the second glamping project of Lifestyle TV. This was not just an ordinary glamping event but a health and wellness glamping getaway where 40 glampers experienced living in a tent for 3 days / 2 nights inclusive of full board meals and doing tons of activities such as yoga, mandala workshop, juicing demo and organic farm tour. Glamping was not at all new to me but it was my first time to try it. (read Glamping by Lifestyle TV Day 1) In case you are new to the word, glamping is glamorous camping, an upgrade to camping fit for adventure seekers who love nature and the outdoors, but don't want to compromise comfort.

Glampers unite!

Hello Chatt!
I left my tent to do my morning ritual at the communal toilet and bath and when I came back Chatt was already sitting inside our tent. Yay! I then oriented her of the events she missed yesterday and discussed the jam-packed itinerary for that day.

Vinyasa Yoga Session
The breakfast was quickly followed by the first activity for that day. Vinyasa Yoga is a style of yoga that utilizes posture and breathing techniques which smoothly transition from pose to pose. It was headed by FLOW Retreats' Monica Manzano who is a certified Vinyasa yoga instructor alongside Lifestyle TV host, Marco Lobregat.

I've tried yoga before but this was my first time to try it in a class. I like that I was able to experience it in an open area rather than in a secluded room. I was able to stretch and do proper breathing, yoga tested my limits when it comes to poses that my body was not accustomed to do. I so enjoyed the experience even if it's not at all easy. In yoga, balance is really important and that was my mantra since I started getting very busy with work and because of that I was thinking of including yoga in my regular routine this coming 2016. Let's all promote work-life balance shall we? Oooohhhhmmmm.

Juicing Demo
Just an hour after yoga, a healthy juicing demo took place headed by "The Green Mind" host Marco Lobregat with the help of Nurture wellness staff, Rimwell. They taught us all about healthy juicing and its benefits. Lucky us we were able to taste what they concocted. I've been an avid fan of detox juicing so my tastebuds loved all their samples.

Hele Foot Spa | P990
And because we had two hour spare time after lunch Chatt decided to use her massage coupon and I decided to avail another massage, this time I tried their foot spa (this was not included in the fee). Hele Foot Spa is an hour luxurious foot pampering where your feet are wrapped and massaged in special oils.

Nurture's Organic Farm Tour
Next on our agenda was the organic farm tour which was just a few meters away from the actual site. The farm is owned by the same owners of Nurture Wellness Village and it was their first time to conduct such tour. We were introduced to so many herbs, vegetables and some animals. The farm was filled with lush vegetation and really nice people, we also had the lucky chance of talking to the actual owner, Ms. Cathy who had been very hands-on during the whole tour. Plus we also got to plant a vegetable which was quite cool.

Mandala Making Workshop
During dawn we then started learning about Mandala. I've encountered the word before (I'm sure you do to) but was not entirely sure of its meaning. According to our Mandala guru, Monica Manzano it is a spiritual symbol in Indian religions, any circular diagram that represents the cosmos metaphysically and symbolically. She encouraged us to try doing it even if we weren't that keen on drawing because it relaxes your mind and helps promote proper breathing (just like when doing yoga)

The workshop ended by doing our own Mandala art, she told us to drive inspiration thru the environment we were in or just anything that slips our mind. As for me since it's daybreak, I combined three elements - Sun, Moon and Stars.

my Mandala work of art - like it?

Good Night!
After a few hours of serenading it was time for us to rest. The jam-packed day ended with a good chat with old friends inside our glamping tent. (I didn't even want this day to end yet)

Good Night!
