Anniversary at Misibis Bay

#ChaMike4Ever Romantic Dinner Date
Once in a while, it would be really nice to have an intimate and romantic date with your partner especially if it's an anniversary you're celebrating. For ChaMike's fourth year, aside from the numerous activities we tried, I surprised Mike with a beach-front romantic dinner set-up in Misibis Bay.
The dinner set-up should be prepared in advance. I emailed their reservation a few weeks back telling them details and informing them that this is a surprise so that they won't spoil it when we arrive.
The dinner set-up alone cost P1,500 inclusive of a private butler on the side. Food and drinks are not included in the fee.

While we were walking, Mike felt that I had something planned for him, because this wasn't my first time to do it (read - Romantic Dinner and Spa for two at Bellevue Resort Bohol). Nevertheless, we were both in awe when we saw the romantic table for two. We were welcomed by an array of lighted paper bags that led to our two seater table.

The set-up was so romantic that the customers from the restaurant were looking at us and even asked our butler if they can also eat here.

Two bean bags were placed on the side which was perfect for an after dinner chill.

The food they served were all part of the Spice Restaurant menu. For our drinks, we ordered cocktails

For starters, they served complimentary unlimited dinner bread with butter which we both loved.

Adobo sa Asin | salted adobo
This was what I ordered, a popular dish in the Bicol Region where the pork is boiled with vinegar, garlic and salt until all liquid is absorbed. This particular dish is really tasty and flavorful.

Stuffed Chicken Breast with Mashed Potato
Mike ordered this one. A fusion dish that's a combination of Filipino and American. He loved and enjoyed the meat and of course the mashed potatoes but he let me finish the veggies.

While we were enjoying our food, Chef Ryan walked towards us and offered us two glasses of red wine.<3

Not only that, a complimentary brownie chocolate cake was also served. <3

And right after we were about to end our night it started pouring. Immediately our butler offered us umbrellas and we hurriedly transferred to Spice Restaurant.

Nevertheless the lovely evening didn't disappoint. We capped off the night with wine and cake. It was such a sweet ending.
For couples, I highly recommend to try their private dining set-up, they offer different kinds. Ours was beachfront within premises of the resort.
