Creative Lock in at Thunderbird Resort Rizal.
It was a two-day sunny retreat at Thunderbird Resorts Rizal where this bunch had a creative lock-in for my current show, Your Face Sounds Familiar. We got a lot of positive feedback from the viewers and it was just right to treat ourselves to an 'out-of-town' productive escapade.
It is finally here! The Sony 50mm f1.8 Lens for Sony Nex Camera. Hallelujah! I've been reading about this particular lens in a lot of blogs and late last year I asked for it at the Sony Station in Trinoma, apparently it was out of stock. boo. I reserved for it hoping that it will be available after a few weeks. But days, weeks, months and many walking adventures had passed still the 50mm lens wasn't showing up. I even raided other Sony Station branches but finding it was an epic fail.
Walk with Cham in Seoul South Korea for 4 days.
As I've mentioned in my previous posts, my first visit to South Korea was for work, so I wasn't able to maximize my time there. Hence, I was really eager to return to this country and spend the holidays with Mike in Seoul. Since I couldn't afford to take a longer leave we booked a flight and hotel good for 4 days. It was in its pre-spring season so the weather was pleasantly cold which we like. So if you're a couple like ChaMike and would like to have couples activities, below is our itinerary you might be interested to try.

After our erotically fun(ny) experience at Love Museum we walked our way towards Hongdae's Free Market.
ChaMike's fun & sexy experience at Love Museum.
I've been hearing about the popular Trickeye Museum that has become a famous tourist attraction in Seoul. Because of the growing fame of the said museum I asked Mike if he's interested to visit it even if we have that optical illusion type of museum in Manila. We later decided to skip it when we learned about the Love Museum.
ChaMike strolls at Seakchon Lake.
I started to become fascinated with spring ever since I experienced it last year in Japan. The pleasant weather- not too cold and not too hot, the dressing up which can be really fun because I don't get to wear those clothes to my tropical country and most especially the beautiful cherry blossoms of different shades of pink in every corner. Because of that Mike and I would always plan to go to a country that has all of these (the reason why this holy week ChaMike chose to go to Seoul rather than going to a beach.) It was early spring when ChaMike went to Seoul so seeing a cherry blossom can be hard to achieve but the good thing was there were already tons of it in full bloom at Seokchon Lake.
ChaMike declares eternal love at N Seoul Tower.

After the DMZ tour, it was time to set the mood for love at N Seoul Tower.
ChaMike learns Korean history at DMZ.
ChaMike wanted to do something daring for the fourth day so we thought that it would be quite awesome if we visited the DMZ or Demilitarized Zone. North and South Korea are divided ever since World War II and visiting the said site would somehow give us an idea as to the current status of the relationship between the two countries.
ChaMike eats at Myeongdong.
Not only is Myeongdong a shopping mecca, it is also a district that serves a wide variety of restaurants. Here are some notable ones you might want to try.
I love shopping and night markets- who doesn't? So when I went to Myeongdong for the first time last year it became my absolute favorite place! Therefore I made sure when I come back I'll book a hotel in Myeongdong so Mike and I can have the daily ritual of walking along the busy streets of this well-known shopping district.
