I first discovered about Cookin Nanta when my friend and Director, Ted Boborol watched it last year. Because picture taking is not allowed he had no pictures of the actual play so I had no idea what this Cookin Nanta was. I just based it on his review that it is 'The most fun and interactive musical I've ever seen'. So ChaMike just had to watch it.
A new attractionnear Nami Island is Petite France. It is a small french cultural village set in a Korean countryside that has museums, restaurants, cafes, workshops and a guesthouse. Its main concept was to create an atmosphere that consists of flowers, stars and The Little Prince. Others call it The Little Prince Theme Park.
One of the reasons why I wanted to visit Seoul was because of Nami Island. I am not really a fan of the whole Koreanovela craze but the picturesque lane of beautiful tall trees (winter, autumn or not) was just so irresistible to miss.
Mike is an ultimate dog lover. He had a pet dog named Spikey, a dachshund which he considered his best friend. Sadly, Spikey passed away last year and I saw how devastated Mike was more so as he wasn't physically there when the incident happened. So when I saw the Krimmy couple post a dog cafe somewhere in Myeongdong on Instagram I immediately put that on my list.

After playing dress up as Korean locals in Bukchon Hanok VillageMike and I walked our way to Insadong. I've been to Insadong before but like in Gyeongbokgung Palace I never had the time to appreciate the place. I was also curious with the Wall of Love that is quite famous for couples here.

After appreciating Gyeongbokgung Palace, ChaMike went to Bukchon Hanok Village to check the traditional houses that Bukchon is famous for, we were also hoping that we could find a traditional costume rental and luckily we did (yay!)
ChaMike's very first agenda in Seoul was to visit the most famous temple in South Korea- Gyeongbokgung Palace. Even if I've been here already I opted to still put this on my list. I never really explored this famous site the last time I was here because I was so busy with our shoot (plus our cameraman got lost so we searched for him for over an hour! Kalurks!) So that's why I was so eager to visit this palace once more to appreciate its beautiful ancient architecture and history.
Just like love, Seoul is lovelier the second time around. Especially if you are with the person whom you love. LOL. Warning! Major CHEESINESS overload.

Getting around Seoul is easy. ChaMike's main source of transportation is through the Metro Line or subway. For us, subway trains are more convenient, cost efficient (than taxis) and faster way (than buses). But first you have to consider some pointers.
For my second visit in Seoul, I handpicked Hotel JHill mainly for its prime location. During my first trip I stayed at IP Boutique Hotel in Itaewon and this time I wanted a hotel in Myeongdong- the busiest, hip and happening place in Seoul.
I had loooong been dreaming of owning a Rimowa. Yes! I bet almost all travelers would want to own one. Ever since I saw the sleek design and how light it is it has been on my 'wish list' years ago. The type of wish that you know you could never get because you have more priorities in life than buying a Php 20,000++ luho. But thanks to my very supportive and 'galante' boyfriend for giving it to me for Christmas last year. The particular item and color is one of the best sellers and it took a little while for the next batch to arrive Manila so after a few months of patiently waiting it's finally in my arms!!! Just right in time for our recent trip to Seoul!
