Walk with Cham at Uluwatu Temple

Uluwatu Temple |
Our only main goal when we visited the Uluwatu Temple was to witness the dramatic sunset. So after our quick stroll at the Ubud Art Market (we were running late) our van hurriedly drove down south to catch the said to be famous sunset.
Uluwatu Temple is one of Bali's most important temples. It is perched on a cliff edge along the beautiful coastline of southwestern Bukit Peninsula.
It was almost sun down when we arrived so we hurriedly looked for the entrance and paid Rp 20,000 (P70), everyone is required to wear sarong & sash. You can rent if you don't have sarongs with you though.
We rushed towards the cliff and there we saw a jaw-dropping orangey-purple sky. It was beautiful, kinda felt the sun waited for us to say goodbye. It was truly wonderful.

It was already night time |
They say that the best time to visit is before sunset where you can catch the Kecak and Fire Dance performance at 6 pm to 7pm. We arrived just after the performance so we failed to see it though my friend told me we could skip the performance but never the sunset. Also, there are hundreds of monkeys that roam around so be very wary with your belongings especially if you are carrying a food with you. They can be very aggressive.
It was a calming view, perfect way to end our busy Bali day 2 schedule.
