There are a lot of delicious restaurants in Bali but of all the food we tried, we fell in love with Babi Guling Ibu Oka.
Babi Guling means sulking pig and is a quite famous delicacy in Bali. It's like lechon in the Philippines and being a meat lover we had our lunch at the most famous Babi Guling restaurant- Ibu Oka.

Babi Guling Ibu Oka became more famous when Anthony Bourdain featured it in his show "No Reservations". We went to its second branch in Ubud as the first one was jam packed already.

We opted to stay at the second floor, with pillows as chairs since it was more breezy and relaxing.

We ordered 6 Special Babi Guling Rice topping for Rp 55,000 (P195) - which consisted of rice topped with sulking pig meat & skin, grilled sausage and veggies.

The food was ridiculously good and cheap! The meat was tasty, the skin was oh so crispy, the sausage was a surprise and the veggies made a good combo. Even if we tasted a lot of lechons in the Philippines I can say that both taste delish! Mike even said he can eat here everyday. Hehehehe.
