Walk with Cham at Seminyak & Kuta Beach
Bali is known for their famous beaches and although I read that the beaches in Bali are incomparable to ours (we have better) we spent most of our third and last day at the shores of Bali. Thank God it didn't rain! After visiting Batu Bolong Temple, our group decided to stay at Seminyak Beach as they heard that it's beautiful, clean and has fine sand.

Batu Bolong Temple |
Visiting Tanah Lot was on top of my Bali list since it is one of the famous tourist attractions in the area so I scheduled it on our very first day (during sunset as it is said to have the best view). However due to time constraints we moved it on our last day instead. Unfortunately, I recently found out that the Tanah Lot we visited was not the actual Tanah Lot! It was Batu Bolong Temple. FAIL! But it was not a total disappointment though...
Souvenir Shopping at Ubud Art Market

Ubud Art Market |
I love souvenir shopping (who doesn't?!) It gives me an overview of the country's culture, tradition and history. Just a few kilometers away from Ubud Monkey Forest lies a famous art market. So after visiting those little rascals we went for some Bali shopping at Ubud Art Market.

Ubud Monkey Forest |
Monkeeeeys!!! The highlight of our Ubud trip was visiting the Ubud Monkey Forest. Everyone was excited especially Mike who loves animals. I, on the other hand, was quite hesitant based on the articles I read prior this trip (I heard monkeys here can be very wild!-- eeeps!)
Walk with Cham at Luwak Coffee Tasting

Coffee & Tea Tasting |
This is not really on our itinerary though I read in my research that Bali is famous for their Luwak Coffee but since I'm not a coffee drinker, I didn't even think of putting this on my list. Although when our van driver asked us if we wanted to try the free coffee tasting (they're everywhere), my brother (who loves to drink coffee) immediately said yes. So after our quick stop at Tegallalang Rice Fields the van dropped us off at a nearby place with a big sign 'Luwak Coffee, free coffee tasting'
Walk with Cham in Tegallalang Rice Terraces
Rice fields aren't really new to us Pinoys as we have a lot of well manicured rice fields at the northern part of our country. But because the Tegallalang Rice Fields is a famous place in Ubud, we made a quick stop nonetheless.

Goa Gajah |
After visiting the famous Ketut Liyer we stopped at Goa Gajah which is just a few kilometers from Ubud. And because the rest of the family didn't bring their sarongs with them (they were also tired of exploring temples from our first day tour), it was only Mike & I who went to see the famous cave.

Ketut Liyer |
Our first day in Bali was spent walking around two temples- Besakih Temple and Tirta Empul. Being in Bali on a rainy season our first day was indeed gloomy and tiresome. So on our second day I hoped for a sunshiny weather. I'm glad it happened. And our very first agenda- visit the famous medicine man of Eat, Pray, Love, Ketut Liyer.

It was in the afternoon when we arrived at Tirta Empul which is just a few kilometers from Besakih Temple.
