ChaMike's Sunday Brunch at Midas Hotel & Casino

ChaMike Brunching at Midas Cafe

I'm an absolute Midas Hotel & Casino fan! I've been here a couple of times already but I never get tired of coming back (my previous posts prove it so). Their accommodation, ambiance, service and food are over-the-top, I always feel the warmth of home but with a certain class so for the year 2015 I start my post by introducing another pleasurable treat from Midas Cafe, their Sunday Brunch.

Sunday has always been the day to indulge and spend quality time with family and loved ones thus Midas Goes Brunch, & All That Jazz every Sunday. Headed by Chef Arnold Guevarra, they offer quite a good combo of breakfast classics, interactive live cooking, seafood, prime meat cuts, drinking station, a kid's corner and more old-time faves.

Mike and I woke up a little early to treat ourselves with a hefty brunch. I've always been fond of the word 'brunch' because it combines breakfast and lunch. Experiencing best of both worlds without having to wake up super duper early in the morning. And can you believe their brunch starts from 11:30 in the morning until 3:00 in the afternoon which is insanely unbelievable because you can spend four and a half hours at the cafe! And YES. Sinulit namin.

It's not my first time to blog Midas Cafe but since most of the offerings were quite new, I will give you a glimpse of their brunch selection.

Appetizer Station
Features amazing spread of hors d'oeuvre, cold-cuts, proscuitto, roasted baguette, freshly baked breads, variety of cheese, nuts and raisins. I had a soft roll and a butter spread to feel the breakfast vibe.

Freshly Baked Breads

Bruschetta and Salami Cone

Salad Station
Salad station offers delightful array of salad greens and vegetables with choices of dressing and other toppings.

Fruit Station

Japanese Station
Japanese corner sated with sashimis, sushis and makis. Sashimis are always present on my buffet plate. Yum.

Japanese Station

Mongolian Station
A wide selection of all sorts of meat, veggies and sauces to fit your desired Mongolian taste. This came in as a surprise, they temporarily removed this during Sabroso then it was back at the spread again. Love eat-all-you-can Mongolian so this one was definitely on my plate.

Grilling Station
Fresh seafood and kebabs all set for interactive grilling. Got myself a lobster, shrimps and mussels.

Dessert Station
Spoil oneself with a great deal of sweet treats. The cafe is swarmed with cakes, pies, tarts, chocolate truffles, ice creams, crepes and desserts served in shooter glasses, plus a luscious flowing chocolate fountains round out with fresh fruit slices, bite sized cookies and marshmallows. Fell for Midas' dessert haven! Love love their dessert selection, I got myself a carrot cake, choco truffle cake, walnut cake, pavlova, macarons and vanilla ice cream. I was in sweet heaven!

Dessert Station

Drinking Station
Imbibe in the specially primed margarita, mojito, white and red wines, all sorts of juices, teas and a Milo dinosaur. And because this station is quite unique from all the buffets that I tried, I ordered a good number of drinks- fresh lemonade, margarita and hot tea while Mike ordered four seasons, mojito and Milo dinosaur. Yes! They have Milo dinosaur, brings back good memories.
