Walk with Cham in Aurora Villa

Aurora Villa |
Welcome to my humble abode! Hihihi. This is Aurora Villa! Our home during our Bali stay <3 Pretty neat huh?! I was actually in disbelief at first because in the history of my travels abroad this was the very first time that I was able to stay in one big house of four bedrooms complete with amenities- living room, dining room, kitchen, garden & pool.
Of course this one-of-a-kind experience became possible because of my sister and her husband, Georgina and Erich. Bali was their honeymoon getaway then later became a family outing for Mama's 60th birthday surprise. They rented the place for almost one month while Papa and Mama stayed for two weeks, Kuya for one week and me & Mike for 4 days. It was their treat for all of us so we didn't pay a single cent for this hidden gem. Oh we are just so L-U-C-K-Y!
Aurora Villa is a luxury villa located at Bukit Peninsula which is at the very south of Bali. Erich and Gin wanted a place that is quiet- away from the hustle and bustle of the busy area but is comfortable, big enough to fit all of us plus most importantly a kitchen to cook their own meal as they have a strict Paleo diet to follow.

Room
8-12 persons can fit in this villa because it has four bedrooms, two at the first floor and two at the second floor. Our room is located at the first floor. Each room has queen/king-sized beds, wardrobes with full-length mirror and large en-suite bathrooms.

Our bathroom has a hot and cold shower, towels, shampoo, conditioner & bath gel. Each room has different sizes and bathroom amenities- Georgina and Erich's bathroom has a bathtub. The villa does not provide slippers, toothpaste and toothbrush by the way.

Kitchen, Dining & Living Room
The kitchen is fully functional which is just perfect for the family, parallel the bench-top is the dining area that can seat 10 people. The living room area has a large sofa set that can fit 10 people and features high quality audio-visual facilities including TV, DVD, CD and and iPod docker. Wifi is available throughout the villa.

If you don't want to cook you can ask the caretaker to cook for you with a corresponding fee. Most of the time we asked them to cook breakfast for us but we had to inform them the night before so they can buy the necessary ingredients.

Second Floor
At the second floor there are two bedrooms and another living room area with LCD TV.

Pool
Of course a villa wouldn't be complete if it has no pool. The private pool has timber decks on both ends with lounge chairs, umbrella and bean bags.

I tried dipping here once and it was just so relaxing. The water is warm and the pool has an air bubble facility just like in a jacuzzi. Sarap!

Garden
Another good thing about this villa is that it has a garden area perfect for yoga sessions. Hehe, actually it was my first time to do yoga. My brother was the one who taught me. :)

Other facilities
Complimentary Wifi internet access
Laundry facilities
Airport-villa transfer
Van and driver arrangement
Generator back up
BBQ facility in the pool area
24-hour security
Roof top lounge and sitting areas
Spa service upon request
The villa is perfect for guests of big groups who want a solitude and relaxing stay. But kindly take note that because it is located at Bukit Peninsula which is down south of Bali it is far from some of the well known tourist spots like Ubud. It would take you two hours to travel from the villa to Ubud, 45 minutes from the airport and three hours from Besakih Temple. So if you are the type of person who is on the go and wants to be near the tourists areas, this villa may not be advisable for you. But despite the location, the family had the best bonding moments here and I would never imagine myself experiencing this blessing if not for Erich and Gin so I am forever grateful for the generosity of my sister and brother-in-law. Thank you, guys for the awesome treat! I just realized that we have no group photo in the villa. sad.
