Georgina, my sister finally made her dream come true of getting married in a beach. So after all her research and planning, she decided to celebrate this milestone at Acuatico Beach Resort in Batangas Philippines. So a week before the wedding the 'It Couple' flew to Manila to get hitch'd (the second time).
Acuatico Beach Resort is located in Laiya Batangas which is a 3-hour drive from Manila. If you want a decent beach near Manila - for swimming, sun bathing, spending time with loved ones or maybe getting married - the resorts in Laiya is your best option. And from all the Laiya resorts, Acuatico is the prime resort in the area.

This wedding is a momentous event for the family since Georgina is the first one to get married from all of us (first cousins from both father and mother side). Good thing I was able to take a quick leave from work so that I could concentrate on my sister's wedding. And by the way, I was also the Maid of Honor/last-minute-wedding coordinator (thank God for I Do!)

Resort
Acuatico Beach Resort is a luxury resort in Laiya with 21 beachfront rooms and villas that provides an unprecedented level of privacy with top-notched amenities, facilities and services. I've known Acuatico for years already and wished to spend my weekends here but I was never given a chance. My friends and I tried our luck to walk-in but they didn't allow - they need a reservation days prior as they prioritize the safety and comfort of the their checked-in guests.

The infinity pool is their main attraction which sets it apart from all Laiya Resorts. Always a picture-worthy view.

They also have outdoor jacuzzi, kiddie pool and separate outdoor shower rooms
The beach is just right outside the resort, the sand is light brown and fine. Well not as pristine as in Palawan, Boracay or Panglao but better from all the resorts near Manila. The view from the room after waking up is just wow.

Acuatico offers water sports facilities like kayak, pedal boat and jetski
Our room is located at the 3rd floor of the hotel with a view of Laiya beach and resort. It has a queen sized bed, LCD TV, telephone, minibar and bathroom with tub (not all rooms are equipped with a tub).

Oceano
Serves traditional Filipino, Asian and Continental dishes. If you have a certain diet (my sister and Erich eat strict Paleo) they can cook it especially for you, they just have to be informed beforehand.

The Oceano is also where they serve their breakfast buffet.

Their breakfast buffet has a wide array of offerings from Filipino, Asian, Continental even Batangas cuisine. Everything tasted good [except for the waffle if I may say]

Wedding at Acuatico
Acuatico proved their high end services through this wedding. Being the wedding coordinator, I was the one talking to them first hand and I can say that they attended all our needs and were very swift with all our requests. May it be sets of hangers, iron board, clothes racks, umbrellas, staff for a wedding booth and all other assistance, favors and instructions. My only request is that they provide bath robes for all the rooms. If not, maybe they can provide just to the bride-to-be, we were a bit shocked when they told us they didn't have bathrobes. It would be awesome if they have those sana. :)
