Lunch at Pamana Restaurant with I Do Grand Couple, Jimmy & Kring

I Do Staff (Me, April, Isay, Joanna & Tunying) plus Jimmy & Kring |
Right after the I Do Finale and Krimmy Grand Wedding, there's still so much in store for the Grand Couple. Of course aside from the Grand Wedding, the Krimmy Couple will get to have a Honeymoon, Spa Franchise, Appliance Showcase, 1 Million Pesos and House and Lot. And to discuss everything in detail, the I Do staff had a relaxing [and filling] lunch meeting with the two newlyweds at the newly opened Pamana Restaurant in Quezon City.

Interior of Pamana Restaurant |
Pamana Restaurant is owned by Happy Ilagan Ongpauco- Tiu, a proud member of the clan of restaurant royalty. Pamana means heirloom in Filipino, which is what Pamana is all about- a Filipino restaurant that serves heirloom recipes handed down from generation to generation.

Old Photo Murial |
The first branch of the restaurant is in Tagaytay then it branched out to several areas like Boracay and Makati then finally Quezon City. So now customers from the north will finally get to experience this restaurant and what's more interesting is that it is just a stone's throw away from ABS-CBN.

Antique pieces which can be seen at the restaurant |
I was endeared by the interior of the restaurant, you will find unique antique pieces, mural of handwritten song from the past and old and new photos of the heritage family plus a selection of Filipino delicacies you can actually buy.

Here's what we ordered:
Lumpia Trio | P250
A variety of lumpia: longganisa, quesong puti and tinapa deep fried until crispy and golden. A Pamana specialty.
I had fun eating this, its unique and has an ample serving plus you can choose from three types of dips.
Sinigang Salmon Belly sa Miso | P450
A salmon belly soup cooked in green veggies and miso paste

April taste testing the Sinigang soup |
Before they served the sinigang, the wait staff handed a small cup of soup to check if we were satisfied by the level of its sourness.

Sinigang Salmon Belly sa Miso | P450 |
I recommend this sinigang, I love how they serve the extra soup in a white ceramic pitcher.
Pinakbet Bagnet | P265
A Barrio Fiesta Special! Medley of vegetables and meat, cooked in famous bagoong topped with Pamana's original Bagnet.

Oh how I love Bagnet! And I love it even more for its fantastic combo with pakbet.
Cebu Lechon Roll | P590 1/2 kg
Very own recipe derived from the love for pork belly and lechon. A combination of both cooked in extraordinary spices till crunchy in the outside and tender in the inside.
