Early Bird Breakfast Club at Fort
Friday, September 19, 2014#ChamEsTRENTA Birthday Surprise from Mike Magsaysay | First Installment at Early Bird Breakfast Club
I love breakfast food! May it be continental breakfast selections such as pancakes, french toasts, bacons, cereals, hash browns or Pinoy choices like tapa, longganisa, tocino, goto, TUYO! - Oh, my mouths watering already! haha. You name it. I like it.
Mike knew that ever since we've been a couple so for my surprise birthday's first stop, he brought me to an all-day-breakfast restaurant that is Early Bird Breakfast Club.
Nestled along Fort Complex at the Bonifacio Global City lies the über cute Early Bird Breakfast Club restaurant. It was lunch time and I already had pancakes for breakfast but who cares! Breakfast is LOVE any time, any day.
Early Bird Breakfast Club is a restaurant that focuses on, well breakfast dishes both continental and Filipino cuisines that we learned to love. The interior is so pretty & comforting! Of course I took as many shots as I wanted.
The moment we entered, we were given a newspaper -- or so I thought.

Newspaper? Not! It's the Early Bird Daily Menu :) |
The Early Bird Daily is their one-of-a-kind menu designed as a broadsheet newspaper-- How clever!

What's for breakfast? |
So after placing our orders, Mike and I amused ourselves while waiting by playing a classic newspaper game- WORD SEARCH! And guess who placed first? -- ahem ahem, hahaha!
So after a few minutes our orders were served.
I ordered what Mike recommended to me - Tenderloin Tapa (P395) beef tenderloin in their sweet marinade served with breakfast rice and my choice of eggs -- I chose over easy by the way. The beef was very tender and tasty! Yummers!

Mike ordered Sunny Salpicao (P325) Tender pieces of chicken breast marinated with our signature sauce and sautéed with button mushrooms, served with breakfast rice/potato wedges and Mike's choice of eggs.
And because I lurve french toasts we ordered their very own French Toast Fondue (P210) served with cinnamon sugar, melted chocolate and maple syrup. Well, I still love the classic french toast but this one is definitely worth trying. The toast is cut into strips where you can dip it with your choice of french toast pairing.
We also ordered cold drinks- Fresh Mint & Lemon (P125) for Mike and Vitamin C Smoothie (P165) for me, a combination of mango, pineapple, banana, orange.
