What I really wanted for my 30th birthday was to throw a party with my closest friends (haven't had a party in a looong time). Because I was very busy with I DO's promo, I didn't have the chance to plan ahead so the preparation was a RUSH! Rush as in two day preparation lang :)

When Mike and I settled in our Sofitel room, he handed me his iPad with an intro: "I may not have spent so much in getting you a gift, but I did spend a lot of time making you one." BOOM!

A few days prior, Mike told me he already planned something 'special' on my birthday. But being the very OC me I kept on asking for details as to where the destination was going to be, what time will he pick me up, what to pack (summer outfits or winter clothes?-- hehehe mabuti nang sure), is there swimming involved and even trivial questions like 'Do I need to bring the BIG SAMSONITE luggage and MY PASSPORT?' -- haha! Feelingera si girl!

I love breakfast food! May it be continental breakfast selections such as pancakes, french toasts, bacons, cereals, hash browns or Pinoy choices like tapa, longganisa, tocino, goto, TUYO! - Oh, my mouths watering already! haha. You name it. I like it.
It was not my first time to visit Midas Hotel, I've been here two years ago during PBB Unlimited Big Night, when they graciously welcomed the Big Four and Big Winner, Slater Young and provided classy rooms to stay after the event. But it was my first time to experience the award-winning restaurant, Midas Cafe. And this time it was also a Big Treat as they launched Sabroso! A Festival of Filipino Gastronomical Journey & Expressions.
