Tokyo City View |
Mori Tower is
a 54-story skyscraper where the first six floors house shops and
restaurants and the top floors have a museum and observation deck.
From the Nihombashi Station, Mike and I traveled to Ginza then we switched to Hibiya Subway Line and exited at the Roppongi Station.

Before heading for the observation deck don't forget to take a picture of the Maman, Louise Bourgeois' (a renowned French-American artist and sculptor) giant spider sculpture.

After which we purchased two tickets for the Tokyo City View. Each ticket costs Y1,500 (P644) which is open from 10am-11pm daily.

Our Y1,500 ticket to Tokyo City View |
Tokyo City View is one of the best observation decks in Tokyo. It has high ceiling full of glass windows that can give its visitors a magnificent view of the city.

The view from the tower was absolutely breathtaking. You will see a landscape of buildings with the iconic orange Tokyo Tower that stood out from the rest.

The Tokyo City View also offers a Sky Deck which is an open air rooftop deck that visitors can access during a fine weather. Unfortunately the weather was foggy so we weren't able to experience the Sky Deck.

After the visit to the Mori Tower, we then visited another famous tower. From Roponggi we took a train going to Kamiyachu Station via Hibiya Line and after a few walks we were at the Tokyo Tower.

Tokyo Tower |
The Tokyo Tower perfectly resembles Paris' Eiffel Tower but is 13 meters taller and is color orange. Tokyo Tower is a 333 meters communication and observation tower located at the district of Minato.
The Tokyo Tower also has a main observatory for Y820 (P351) and a special observatory for Y1420 (P610) for a birds eye view of Tokyo. from the observatory you can see Mt Fuji during clear weather. For us we skipped the observatory and took photos from outside instead.

Taking a photo with the Tokyo Tower was one the items of my Japan bucket list since it is very similar to the Eiffel Tower which is one of my dream destinations.
