The Bantay Bell Tower is said to stand at the highest peak in the whole of Bantay which was used to be an outpost to watch for possible opponents during the Spanish colonial times and was also used as watchtower during World War I and II because of its strategic location thus the word 'Bantay' which means guard in English.
The Bantay Bell Tower is known for its red brick wall and magnificent architecture. So there's no doubt that a lot of tourists visit this place to have their pictures taken with it just like us.

And adjacent to the tower is the Bantay Parish also known as St Augustine Parish and Sanctuary of Nuestra Señora de La Caridad where its facade was already restored combining neo-Gothic design and pseudo-Romanesque materials and elements designed to reminiscent the Spanish Architecture. It is said to be one of the area's oldest parishes.
