After visiting Marcos Mausoleum in Batac town, we then went to Paoay, a town just a few minutes away from Batac where we visited another UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Also known as the Earthquake Baroque Church in the Philippines because portions of the church were damaged by a couple of earthquakes that hit the town centuries ago.

Despite the damages, Paoay Church remains to stand beautifully amidst the well-manicured grass.
We were supposed to have lunch at Herencia Restaurant just opposite the church but unfortunately it was closed at that time due to the typhoon that hit the area the day before. Herencia Restaurant is known for serving good Ilocano cuisines like Pinakbet Pizza, Bagnet, Poqui Poqui, Dinengdeng and Crispy Dinuguan. Sayang! I was so excited pa naman, oh well maybe next time.
