Long Weekend Ilocos Road Trip in Blue Lagoon

Saving the best for last here in Blue Lagoon, Pagudpud!

Blue Sky <3

Blue Lagoon is a cove also known as Maira-ira Beach located at Maira-ira Point. It is in the northernmost tip of Luzon and is known for its turquoise colored water & fine powdery sand.

Fine Powdery Sand

I've been hearing a lot of beautiful things about this beach so I was quite excited to experience Blue Lagoon, our last stop in Pagudpud.

Inviting Turquoise Water & Waves

The weather was perfect when we went there, the water was inviting and the waves were huge which I loved!

Bluer than Blue

Here in Blue Lagoon you'll find lots of coconut trees and identical beach huts which can be rented for P250 per day.

The cove was full of tourists and locals enjoying the beach just like us.

For our lunch, the popular thing to do here is to ask them to cook for you. We bought fishes, squid and seaweeds on our way here and asked the local to cook for us.

Blue Lagoon was a nice place to end our Long Weekend Ilocos Road Trip :)
