Resorts World Manila presents Rodgers & Hammerstein's Cinderella
For sure every girl had a childhood fantasy and that's to have a fairy for a godmother where everything that you wished for will be given to you including meeting your Prince Charming.
Rodgers & Hammerstein's Cinderella is a musical written for television that later on became a broadway hit show that played in a number of version across the globe. This time Resorts World brings the magical musical in Manila which began on October 9 up until today starring Christian Bautista as Prince Christopher and Karylle as Cinderella.
My Prince Charming invited me to attend this 'Royal Ball' so I gladly obliged. It was #ChaMike's second broadway musical (first was The Phantom of the Opera) and incase you didn't know, we have a certain fascination for musicals- appreciating the art, technique, talent & rawness that only broadway can deliver.
There are a number of photo opportunities including a green screen gimmick which can be transformed into different backgrounds. And because ChaMike loves picture taking, we availed one for P350 per print.

I have to give credit to the actors, all of them performed really well! Not to mention the english accent that sounds very foreign (take note: all of them are Filipinos except for the king). Great performance by the evil step sisters, they gave justice to their characters. Of course to Christian & Karylle, they were undoubtedly amazing. Every time Karylle sings it gave me goosebumps! And what's an excellent play without a beautiful orchestra? Hands down to the orchestra, they brought magic to each scene! Yes, the story was predictable but you will be blown away by the set. You'll be amazed on how they whipped off those numerous set change and magical scenes. Relive the magical carriage, glass slippers, royal ball & Cinderella's tiny friends. So to the cast, staff, crew of the Rodgers & Hammerstein's Cinderella, congratulations!
