Played Princess and Queen at JW Marriot Hotel Copacabana.



This was where we stayed for our first 5 days and 4 nights in Copacabana. This hotel was booked by Tresemme and we really couldn't ask for anything more.

JW Marriot Hotel is known as a luxury hotel around the world. It boasts on 16 floors of elegant rooms, fine dining restaurants, modern facilities & superb customer service. The 5-star hotel was also the exact hotel where US President Obama stayed during his recent trip to Rio. 

 Our room
A Deluxe Bedroom with two very comfy beds and soft pillows.


Room amenities
Toilet and Bath- complete with towels and toiletries such as shampoo, conditioner, bar soaps, bath foam, mouthwash, earbuds, cottons, hair cover, needle and thread. The only things we didn't find were toothpaste and toothbrush but we never bothered asking because we had our own.



Bar & Closet- They have two pairs of slippers, safe, blowdryer and clothes iron. The iron was just perfect for my wrinkled clothes :)
Breakfast Buffet
Complimentary breakfast buffet located at the second floor. Love love breakfast buffet!!!







Other facilities
Fitness Center- we never got to use :(

Swimming Pool- located at the rooftop, they have a picturesque view of Copacabana beach here.

Beach Facilities- They offer free use of chair, towel and umbrella at Copacabana Beach so there's no need to rent :)




WIFI Access
Wifi inside the rooms is not free, a fee worth R$35 (P660) per day or R$80 (P1,507) for 3 days is required. However they offer free unlimited wifi access at the lobby and second floor area.


 Best customer service
Got to say that they have the best customer service. The concierge was ALWAYS helpful! They arrange our tours at the football game & colonial tour and not even that they helped me buy an Ayrton Senna Shirt (most famous Brazilian car racer) for my boyfriend's dad. The shirt is not available in Rio but it was in Sao Paulo, so what they did was they ordered online and they paid at the bank, then I got the shirt the very next day right at their counter :) who would do that? Two THUMBS UP for their concierge!!! Did I mention that you can ask for unlimited bottled water! Tipid move: We always ask for water when going out so that we don't have to buy drinks at the restaurants (waters are very pricey when you order at the restos) :)

 I love staying at JW Marriot Hotel, perfect for those people who want a worry-free, upscale lodging and first class service!
