FREEDOM to FEAST at Vikings Luxury Buffet.

In commemoration of Philippine Independence Day last week. Mike & I decided to eat at one of the best buffet restaurants in Manila.

Vikings Luxury Buffet Restaurant is a sumptuous feast of European, American, Japanese, Chinese and Filipino cuisine. Because Vikings from Scandinavia were famous for their gigantic eating habit, in this restaurant you'll expected to eat like one thus the name. They have three branches in Manila, first branch is in SM Mall of Asia, second in SM Marikina and third branch in SM North Edsa which just opened February of this year.

Mike, who loves to eat showed me their perfect Independence Day promo...

Perfect because on that day Mike bought us tickets to the opening of Man of Steel at Imax, SM North and second because I just bought the two of us Philippine themed couples shirts on my recent trip to Cebu.

Philippine themed couples shirts

Take note that they allow at least two weeks of reservation as it gets fully booked fast so as expected it was indeed full when I called them the day before but they advised me to be there as early as 5pm so we can have sure seats.

After the traffic war and parking chaos, Mike and I together with 2 of our friends successfully found ourselves seating and adoring the interiors and wide array of delectable and eye popping dishes of the luxury buffet.

They have HUGE food selections. We were indulged in mouth-watering cuisines from across the world.

Salad Station
An aisle of make-your-own salad, garnishes & different types of cheese.

Grilling & Seafood Station
Baked OYSTERS! Tuna belly, salmon head, chicken skin, pork barbecue, chicken liver.

They have staff grillers for the seafood.

Roasting Station
Lechon Cebu, Roast Turkey, Mini Hamburger, Baby Back Ribs, Angus Ribs...

Japanese Station
Ebi tempura, veggie tempura, maki, sushi, sashimi.

Chinese/Asian Station
Dimsum, fish balls, century eggs, wanton

Italian Station
Pizza, fries, onion rings, patato chips.

Drinking Station
Soda, gulaman, milo shake, dalandan, iced tea, four season, pineapple, BEER!

Dessert Station
Cakes, chocolate fountain, ice cream, yoghurt, taho, crepe, halo halo.

And more...

Even more...

And yes, we ate like VIKINGS.
