Pigging out in CEBU CITY
Sunday, August 26, 2012Eating is a great therapy & Cebu is a perfect place to find good eats that is satisfying & unique. Here are a list of restaurants I tried:
1. Zubuchon
One of the main reasons why I want to go to Cebu is because I want to eat at Zubuchon. Everyone's raving about the best roasted pig in the world which Anthony Bourdain said when he went to the Philippines for his show No Reservations.

Small Lechon (1/2 kilo) costs P260
Aside from their bestseller lechon, they also serve Kinilaw, Sisig, Sinigang, Dinuguan, Paksiw, Crispy Pata, Adobong Kangkong any many more.
I like their kamias shake too!

2. La Tegola
My boyfriend recommended this Italian restaurant since this is his fave whenever he goes to Cebu to visit his relatives.
My family & I went to Ayala Terraces' branch to try their pizza & pasta and surprisingly the Italian owner was there to welcome and assist all his costumers, talk about Italian hospitality :)
After placing our order, they served us appetizers while waiting. It's a thin crust focaccia topped with minced tomatoes, herbs & sauce. It's so yummy that I forgot to take pictures, hehehe :)
We ordered Tutta Carne Pizza with tomato sauce, mozzarella cheese, sausage, cooked ham & bell pepper
Spaghetti al Cartoccio is a seafood spaghetti pasta wrapped in aluminum foil & baked in the oven.
So if you want to eat in an authentic Italian Restaurant in Cebu, I recommend you to eat here. The ambience makes the experience even better.

Mooon Cafe has several branches around the Philippines and some says that their branch in Cebu is their first. Mooon Cafe is a Mexican Cantina inspired restaurant, it's interiors are colorful & catchy which caught our attention to eat at their branch in The Walk, IT Park.
