Dinner date at UNO RESTAURANT

Mike has been mentioning Uno Restaurant for a year now which is near ABS-CBN where we work, but it is just recently that we paid it a visit. Mike was saving it daw for a special occasion, our #ChaMikesary :)

It was already 9pm when we got there, so the place was empty. The restaurant's interior is plain and traditional without the trying-hard-to-impress atmosphere.
After ordering from the menu (it changes ever so often) they served complimentary sourdough breads with butter on the side. Natuwa ako kasi I love breads!
And honest to goodness, this is the best tasting bread I've ever tried! It's freshly baked, the outer filling is crispy while the inside is just wow! Mike said that their breads are also for sale, her Mom often buys bread here if she has the time.

Mike ordered Free Range Chicken for P390. It's pan roasted chicken with garlic, capers & chili

The surf and turf pasta is better tasting than the free range chicken, the food is just okay , I guess I expected too much or we ordered the wrong dish but what we really love is their bread. We will definitely go back here for their breads :)
By the way, they don't accept credit cards, so better bring cash with you.
Pahabol... Before posting this entry, Mike's Mom bought breads for take out and gave me two sourdough breads! They are just so yummy! :)
