CRISOSTOMO Resorts World Manila

Wednesday, August 29, 2012

My friend Joycen, who is based in Taiwan recently visited Manila for 1 week. Thinking of a convenient place to meet up (she's from Las Pinas while I'm from Quezon City), we agreed to have a girly bonding date at Resorts World Manila. And because of our hectic schedules the only activity that we were able to do was EAT!

After scouting for a place to have dinner, we decided to try out Crisostomo. I've been to Resorts World several times but haven't tried dining here. Crisostomo, which obviously came from the name Crisostomo Ibarra, a character from Jose Rizal's Noli Me Tangere, is inspired by turn-of-the-century Filipino dining that have influenced local cuisine: Spanish, American, Japanese and Chinese.

We ordered quite a few...

Taba ng Talaka Rice                               P275

Sisig Linares  (Pork Sisig)                       P325

Manok ng Diablo
(Hot & spicy deep-fried chicken           half P300 & whole P525

Gising Gising                                           P220

Binagoongan Pia
(pork binagoongan)                                 P295

I loved their Binagoongan Pia & Manok ng Diablo :)

And while catching up with Hunnie, bigla ko nga namiss ang Taiwan trip ko with her & Chatt kaya dahil dyan nainspire ako to write an entry on my walking trip to Taipei :)
