Our 3rd & last day in HCM City :(

with the nice staff of our hotel

My hearty hotel breakfast

We decided to visit places we didn't get to visit from our first day.

1. Tran Nguyen Monument
General Tran Nguyen Han served under Emperor Le Loi during the war against the Chinese in the middle of the 15th century.

2. Ben Thanh Market
Just across the monument is the most famous market in HCM City.

You can find almost everything in this market

clothes, bags, souvenir items

spices, coffee, Vietnames delicacies
But most of the vendors here are rude. So we only bought Vietnam shirts for pasalubong (There are the only vendors there whom we found nice!)

3. Saigon Square
Went here to check out their tiangges. We love it here! I bought tops & dresses from Forever21 & Zara :)

Address: 77 - 89, Nam Ky Khoi Nghia Street, District 1, Ho Chi Minh

4. Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee & Ho Chi Minh Monument

5. Trung Nguyen Coffee
We got really tired from all the walking so we decided to stop over at one of their famous coffee shops.
I'm not really a coffee drinker but Vietnamese coffee shouldn't be missed when visiting Vietnam.

6. Diamond Plaza Mall
Visited one of their famous malls. Nothing much to see, it has close resemblance to Rustan's Mall.

7. Saigon Opera House
Read in a blog that the opera house is nice to visit at night.

Address: Dong Khoi Street, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City

 8. Pasalubong shopping
Pasalubongs are best bought at shops near our hotel along Bui Vien Street

While checking out some stuff to buy, saw two of my office friends! Such a small world! :)
