The Mind Museum is a newly opened world class interactive science museum located in Taguig.
It was a surprise treat from Mike. Ecstatic that the International Museum day & our Monthsary (we call it #ChaMikesary) fell on the same date so he reserved tickets 1 week before.
For P500 each we enjoyed an all-day-no-time-limit pass compared to the regular rate of P600 each for only 3 hours. It was definitely a GREAT DEAL!
We started early para sulit :)

Long overdue vacation with workmates & long overdue vacation in Puerto Princesa! It's an ecstatic experience! I guess because it's my first time to travel by plane with my boyfriend, Mike which made this trip really special.
I strongly recommend Puerto Princesa for adventure seekers & nature lovers. So here's our itinerary you might want to try:
Underground River or Subterrenean River is Puerto Princesa's major tourist spot. It is included in the Unesco World Heritage Site & New 7 Wonders of Nature so people go to Puerto Princesa mainly for this reason. So if you're planning to tour here you have to book beforehand.
We booked ours via our hotel, Hibiscus Garden Inn. One should accomplish a permit before going to the Underground River. Note: Permits are limited so be sure to book the tour ahead of time (I recommend you to book weeks before especially during summer).

Island hopping at Honda Bay was our very first activity in Puerto Princesa. We were a bit late because of our delayed flight so we were rushing ourselves to go to the port, the last boat to leave for the tour was at 2pm. We arrived at 2:10 pm, luckily our tour guide arranged it to push thru and the coast guard allowed us! Yipee!!! :)
We booked the Honda Bay tour from our hotel which costs P6,600.00 for an exclusive tour & boat that had a maximum capacity of 6 pax. The tour was inclusive of air-conditioned van, boat transfers, all entrance fees, buffet picnic lunch, use of shed or cottage and with the service of a licensed local tour guide.

I was really looking forward of going here at Kinabuchs for their famous tamilok (It was featured when the PBB Teens Plus went to Puerto Princesa & when Bizarre Food's Andrew Zimmern ate this when he featured the Philippines for the show)
After visiting the Crocodile Farm, we went to Mitra's Ranch also known as Sta Monica Ranch. This is one of the destinations on our city tour.

Baker's Hill is the 3rd stop on our Puerto Princesa City Tour and our last stop before going to the airport.
This is also located at Sta. Monica heights where Mitra's Ranch is located.
Learned about the hotel thru Tripadvisor.com, it ranked number 1 in Puerto Princesa hotel accommodations (ever since I started traveling, I relied on comments in this website) so I booked 2 rooms in this hotel and they replied immediately. Hibiscus Garden's website- www.puertoprincesahotel.com
Our second day in Saigon was scheduled to visit the Cao Dao Temple & Cu Chi Tunnel.
1. Cao Dao Temple
It took us 3 1/2 hours to travel from HCM City to Cao Dao Temple.
Free airfare, anyone? Why not?!
My parents and I applied for a Cebu Pacific Citibank Credit Card last year and along with the card we were given free one-way ticket to any destination via Cebu Pacific. We decided to go to Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam since we all haven't been there.

1. There are more motorcycles than cars on the road.
So be extra careful while walking and crossing the streets. Tourist can also rent motorcycles to go around the city. No need for a driver's license as long as you have your passport with you.
Tip: If you are planning to rent a motorcycle, ask your hotel reception or travel agency about it. Don't rely on street peddlers as they are most likely to scam you.
